Lunch at Camp 18

Early in the month we met Marty and Mary Martin at Camp 18 for lunch...It is in a little community named "Elsie" somewhere between the coast and Portland...On our way over the Megler Bridge there was a huge barge bringing containers up the river... It was very colorful and very BIG...
Camp 18 is an old logging camp that has been restored to house a wonderful restaurant and a logging museum...
It was really warm that day...very unusual for this part of the country...but we loved meeting Marty and Mary and spending a good part of the afternoon with them...good friends are very hard to find and they are two of the best...
Mike was busy taking pictures...as you can well see...
There were some really neat artifacts there that Mike took pictures of...I'm sure that they had something to do with mining or logging but I really don't know what they were all used for...
I just loved these little artful projects that someone did...
Very fun to look at and find the tools or parts of tools that they sere made of...
The food was gret and the company was really good too...thanks again guys, for lunch...We really had a good time...
I'm gonna post this and hopfuly get some more catchng up done today...we'll see...
Lot's has been happening in the past 2 months and we have gone many places...and I really wan to do nd overvies of our last year...our first year as full time RVers...The Good the Great and the Wonderful...
