Then we went to Shore Acres State ParkHere you see Mike letting me know where he is... He is standing in the view area of where the mansion of Louis J Simpson use to be... He lost the mansion and property during the depression and the main house was in such disrepair that when the
State Park System purchased it they had to tear it down...
It was really too bad...it looks, from pictures, that it was a beautiful...and the view was to die for...
The vistas are remarkable...the wind swept cliffs are beautiful and very unique and interesting...
This is another view...they are so beautiful...Mr. Simpson must have been devastated to loose this wonderful piece of property...They there are the formal gardens that have been gloriously kept up...This is the gardener's home...These are some of the beautiful views in the gardens ans a couple of the flowers...it is sooooo pretty
And then I got to see my first "Bald Eagles" in the wild...I was so excited...it was even a little emotional...I really love this part of our new lifestyle...
Today it rained...so we went to the movie...we saw "Ocean's 13"...I am so glad we got in on the senior matinee...it stunk...not like the first two at all...This evening the storm is over and the sum is gonna make a great sunset...maybe I'll get out there and take a couple of pictures...
We found a great Mongolian BBQ place in Coos Bay today...I think it is the only one in the Pacific North West...and it is a really great one...we will go back...
