Trip to Redmond to see the Bordman, OR. contingency of The Caudron Clan

From Right to Left...Tim, Tracy, Kelsey (11), Kaleb (7)...

Well...let me tell ya...it's a long way to Redmond, OR from Chinook, WA...

About 5 hours over and 6 hours back...We both had tired b***...

We stopped on Mt. Hood at the Ski Area and they had these summer sleds that you could ride in a tube...really cool looking...

You can see the run that they go down...sure looked like people were having a great time doing it...Then there was thi poster of some"Extreme Bike Rideing"...it reminded me of the "Ropes Course" at "Old Oak Ranch"...Looks pretty extreme to me...
Then there was the desert...again the "High Desert"...it is awesome and really unique...I really don't care for it but it is awesome...
Then there was the river...Yep..."A River Runs Through It"...really pretty in the midst of all that desert ...
This was the view from the veranda outside our very nice bedroom...With "Spa Tub" and all...we were treated like royaltywith the best meals on the planet as well...Tim and Tracy do a really good job of Hpspitality The view from the opposite direction...Thats the Dechutes River at the bottom of the slight gorge there...

Here is a view of the Condos...it is a really nice place...we were properly impressed... Here's the playground... The very first thing that Kaleb wanted to show Uncle Mike was that he could ride his bike with "No Hands"...
It seems like they grow up so fast...but then again...we hadn't seen him for 2 years...hopefully that won't happen again! Way too cute...
Then there was the Uncle Mike took them to the pool and submitted these photos of the event...
Here's Kelsey inching her way into the pool in her new "Tankini"...

Here we are...Kelsey got her hair cut into a very cut "BOB"...Made her look like a teenager...they arwe both great kids.,..very smart and very talented...Wejust loved getting to know them all better...I'm not sure if this picture was of Mt. Hood or one of the other mouintains you can see in the distance there...but I do know that is Tim's truck...we followed him into Bend, Or. for breakfast the morning we left... These are the "Sisters" Mountains...I do know that...
This is a piece of copper art at the "Brown Bear" resraurant in Bend...we love "Brown Bear" and were very surprised that there was one iun Bend ans also in Madras... Waiting for the FOOD toget there...Keeping the cameras going kept the kids busy...Then the FOOD...Mike got this "Mongo" Burrito with sausage, ham, bacon, eggs, potaroes, cheese and what ever else they could find to put in it... it looked great...and he left no crumbs...Now we are headed back to the coast.,,,ir is getting hot over here...and you know I don't like hot...But here are a couple more views of Mt Hood...It is a beauriful mountain...I took many pictures of it...but not as many as Mt. Shasta... This is the Columbia River...on our way home...I love that river...Like I have said many times before...there is not a place that you can look up here that isn't simply beautiful...
Check out these wild sweet peas...
We were waiting on the highway...while they were working on the road...so I just had to take a picture or two...

This was a spur of the moment trip...and one that was very nice and lots of fun...visiting with the kids and Tim and Tracy was really nice...can't wait 'till we can do it again...
