These first pictures were taken on Monday evening between 9:00 & 10:00PM...

The first one is of the Young's Bay Bridge between Astoria and Warrenton, OR
and the others are taken of the Megler bridge between Astoria and Chinook, WA... It truly stays light here until about 10:00PM...that's not so good for an old gal who likes to go to bed around 9:00PM...well maybe 10:00PM...and sometimes even 11:00PM...Just depends what's goin' on...or not...

Yesterday we
went to the Gray's River Falls with Kaley leading the way...well, we ran
into a huge constriction site...but in the end we made it there... We have found that in other states...the
road safety regulations for road work are not the same as in CA...you just ride along the roads with the big equipment...it is really crazy...But we got there and it was worth the ride...but you gotta know that this "Old Broad"...was not in her element...I had to "HIKE" down to the river...now remember it was 93 degrees here...never that hot in Astoria...???...and I can't usually make it through the grocery store...on flat ground... without sitting down...Well...off we went...knowing all along that "what goes down...must come back up"...
Isn' it beautiful??? This was taken at the top of the hike down to the river bed...The first one is of the Young's Bay Bridge between Astoria and Warrenton, OR
